For classic children’s books, I prefer to buy than borrow from the library. This way, they can be read and re-read many times as long as the child enjoys it. Then one day, he starts reciting the entire story word-for-word, such a magical moment!
Children’s books with beautiful illustrations and big words are also great for introducing speed-reading.
